User data deletion

1. How to request deletion

Send an email to privacy@achados.cv from the email address linked to your Achados.cv account, with the subject line Data deletion request.

In the message, please include:

• The email address you use to sign in to Achados.cv (if different from the sending address).
• Your display name on Achados.cv, if you remember it.
• A short statement that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.

If you cannot access that inbox, contact us at the same address from any email and describe your situation; we may ask for reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a request.

2. What we delete

After we confirm your request and verify ownership of the account, we will delete or anonymise, where applicable:

• Your user profile and account record (including name, email, phone, WhatsApp, and profile image we store).
• Listings you created, including descriptions, images, and related metadata.
• Session and authentication data tied to your account.
• Associations with social login providers (for example, the link between your Facebook account and Achados.cv), so you cannot sign in with the same connection after deletion.

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where the law requires it (for example, accounting or fraud prevention). Where retention is required, we restrict access and use it only for those purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

3. How long it takes

We aim to acknowledge receipt within a few business days and to complete deletion of your account and routine personal data within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional technical constraints. We will inform you if we expect a delay.

4. If you used Facebook Login

In addition to requesting deletion from us, you can remove Achados.cv from the apps and websites connected to your Facebook account at any time. In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or the equivalent in the Facebook app). Removing the app stops future data sharing through that connection; it does not by itself delete data we already stored. Use the email process above to delete your data on our side.

5. Other sign-in methods

If you signed in with Google or email and password, the same deletion request process applies. Revoking the app in Google Account settings stops new sign-ins via Google but does not remove data already held by Achados.cv; use the email request for a full account deletion.
